Stock-take should not consume half the night

Visual estimates vary between employees.

Open bottles are counted inconsistently.

Spreadsheets become outdated.

Unknown products interrupt the count.

Errors appear after the work is finished.

Several employees may count the same bottle twice.

Liquid Stock-Take replaces visual guessing with a repeatable weight-based process.

How it works

STEP 01

Build your drinks catalogue

Add products by uploading a spreadsheet, an invoice or delivery note, scanning a barcode, photographing a bottle, or entering it manually.

STEP 02

Calibrate each bottle type once

Record an empty bottle, or a measured 100 ml liquid sample. The system creates a reusable bottle profile.

STEP 03

Count and weigh

Count sealed bottles, weigh open ones, review unusual results, and submit the completed count.

Why it works

Faster counting

Reduce repetitive typing and visual estimation.

More consistent results

One measurement process across employees and venues.

Built for open bottles

Convert bottle weight into estimated remaining liquid volume.

Easy exception handling

Create provisional products and continue without leaving the stock-take.

Collaborative counting

Several employees count simultaneously, with duplicate warnings and audit history.

Poor-connectivity support

Measurements remain available when cellar Wi-Fi disappears into folklore.

How bottle measurement works

The product estimates remaining liquid by subtracting the calibrated bottle weight from the current measured weight.

Bottle profiles can be created using a full and empty bottle, or a full bottle and a 100 ml liquid sample. Pour spouts must be removed before weighing.

Results are displayed in 10 ml increments — a presentation rule, not a guaranteed accuracy tolerance.

Frequently asked

Do I need special scales?+

No specific connected scale is required. Users enter measured weight manually.

Do I need to empty every bottle?+

No. A bottle profile can be created using a 100 ml liquid sample.

Can I scan barcodes?+

Yes. The system first checks the business catalogue and then supported external sources.

What happens when a product is not found?+

The user can photograph it, search manually, or create a provisional product without interrupting the stock-take.

Can several employees count together?+

Yes. Existing measurements are visible before users add or replace entries.

Does it work offline?+

Core measurement data can be captured during poor connectivity and synchronized later. External recognition may require internet access.

Does it support kegs?+

Not in the first version.

Is the result exact?+

The system provides an operational estimate based on calibrated bottle and liquid weights. Results are displayed in 10 ml increments.
